Henri le petit Marmot
A few summers ago I was on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park with my sister and her daughters. On the top of Trail Ridge Road there is a trail and an area where the marmots frequent. That day the marmots were particularly active. While heading back to the car we were discussing marmots and I noted that the word almost looked like it should be french and pronounced MAR-Mow, my sister added that of the marmots could be named Henri (pronounced ON-REE) Which led to 'Henri le petit Marmot'. Shortly after seeing the marmots we visited the Trail Ridge Gift Shop and my sister purchased a stuffed Marmot for her younger daughter, Norah. She named him Henri - le petit marmot.
He is so adorable
love the story behind the photo!
